Hisakata for iPhone
Hisakata is published by Nodera LLC, in Tokyo,
Japan.
Hisakata does not collect personal data and does not send anything about you or your play to us
or to anyone else. The game runs on the iPhone from files bundled with the app; it makes no
network requests while you play.
What is stored
The game saves no settings, no scores, no progress and no identifier. It has no account and asks
for no name, email, or sign-in. iOS and the system's web engine keep their own caches for the app,
such as compiled graphics and the launch snapshot; those are managed by the system, not by the
game.
Keeping and deleting
Nothing from the app reaches us, so we hold no data from the app to return or erase. Deleting the
app removes what it put on the device; anything iOS keeps for itself, such as backups and
diagnostics, is handled by Apple.
What is not collected
No analytics. No advertising and no advertising identifier. No crash or performance reporting
of its own. No location, no microphone, no camera, no contacts, and no use of the local network.
Hisakata uses the iPhone's motion sensors to notice the wave that switches to tilt steering, and
to steer while you fly by tilting. The readings are used on the device as they arrive; they are
never saved or sent. The sound is made on the device; the app contains no recordings.
One thing does not come from Hisakata: if you have turned on iOS's own Share
with App Developers setting, Apple may pass us crash logs and diagnostics from the apps you
use, this one included. That is Apple's mechanism and your setting — Hisakata neither collects them
nor can switch it on.
In App Store terms, this is Data Not Collected.
Beta testing
If you test Hisakata through TestFlight, Apple's TestFlight service handles your invitation and
any feedback or screenshots you choose to send, and Apple shares crash reports from TestFlight
builds with us whatever the device's sharing setting. That is covered by Apple's own terms; the app
itself still collects nothing.
This website
Hisakata itself never contacts a server. This website does, as every website does:
our server writes a line for each request it answers — the time, the page asked for, your IP
address, the page you came from, and what your browser reports about itself, such as its name and
language. From the IP address we look up the country, region, and network it belongs to.
We use these lines to count how many people find this website and where they come from, and to
find the cause when something goes wrong. They are kept on our own servers, with a backup copy in
cloud storage, until we delete them. We do not sell or share them, and we do not join them with
anything else.
The pages set no cookies, store nothing in your browser, and load nothing from anyone else.
Links out
The app's About screen links to this website: the privacy policy and the support page. They open
in Safari, outside the app.
Children
Hisakata collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of Japan.
Changes
If a future version of Hisakata ever collects anything or uses the network, this page will say
so before that version ships, and the date below will change.
